artfarm is a dynamic, artist-run commons dedicated to showcasing compelling new work and prefiguring a more democratic culture. We serve as a platform for diverse creative voices—from emerging to established—whose work critically engages with the present and actively models future possibilities.
artfarm intentionally prioritizes the inclusion of artists historically denied access to creative infrastructure, including working-class artists, BIPOC artists, immigrant artists, LGBTQ+ artists, and artists with disabilities. artfarm is particularly eager to welcome artists interested in advancing social movements, though any artist interested in contributing to this commons is welcome to apply.
We are currently accepting proposals for exhibitions and installations in our unique spaces:
gallery: a versatile 12x28' white-box room, ideal for all media, including sculpture, immersive installations, and new media.
the hollery: a long, character-filled hallway, perfect for serial works, photography, and two-dimensional hangings.
lavatories: yes, you read that right! a one-of-a-kind opportunity for site-responsive installations in our public restrooms.
Use the form below to share your proposal with us . . . and while you’re at it, don’t forget to let us know if you’re also interested in one of our artist studios or vending in the shop.
